I’m Sophia Sokołowski - Naturopath
As a Naturopathic Doctor with a special interest in perinatal and women’s health, Sophia maintains a judgement-free safe space as the cornerstone of her practice.
A graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, she entered naturopathy after personally experiencing the benefits of a natural approach to healthcare.
Her own pregnancy journey, and the magical and intimate bond formed between a mother and baby through breastfeeding, has shaped Sophia’s focus on infant care and wellness.
Her areas of practice include:
· Women’s health and fertility
· Infant care
· Cancer care (with a special interest in breast cancer)
Sophia is also an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and available to provide in-home lactation support to her clients.
An endless curiosity fuels her dream to travel and learn perinatal treatment mechanisms from cultures and communities around the world.
Outside her clinical practice, Sophia volunteers with several Ukrainian organizations that support displaced Ukrainians transition to life in Canada.
Sporting a playlist that spans from Dolly to Ozzy, she loves a good live music gig. She’s also a proud mom of two children under six and a boxer husky named Harley.
Recently I have completed courses at The Institute of Functional Medicine and am currently enrolled in Functional Diagnostic Nutrition. I firmly believe nutrition and physiology are essential to a person’s health and well-being.
I am always interested in learning and I am constantly on the lookout for courses that will further enrich my understanding of the human body and health.

Every person is unique with their own lived history and story. Genetics, biomechanics, and environment all impact health, which is why every client receives individualized care. The goal is to teach you how to listen to your body, to recognize when things are not quite right, and to take proactive control over your health.
A multidisciplinary approach is often required which is why I use osteopathy as a foundation but incorporate functional medicine and nutrition into my practice. If referrals are required I have a wonderful group of colleagues I trust.
